From a journey of opportunity to a successful artist and entrepreneur.
Shadin Hossain
Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Shadin Hossain moved to America at the age of 17, seeking new opportunities. While always passionate about art, it wasn’t until he joined Omega Gallery that his career in art began. After five years of learning framing, restoration, and presentation, he opened Galleria on Third in 1999, specializing in custom framing and restoration. Over the next 24 years, Galleria built a solid reputation for excellence, serving artists, collectors, and interior designers.
Shadin eventually returned to his own artistic roots, creating 3-D collage pieces that combine pop art and folk art influences. His work gained widespread attention, earning him recognition as “New Yorker of the Week” in 2011. In addition to his art, Shadin has used his success to give back, hosting charity events that support organizations like World Vision and Smile Train, showcasing his commitment to making a difference.
